They were good, but they break very easily.

Price Paid: $35

A lot of parents in Colorado are active and ask about climbing shoes to get their kids psyched on climbing. For kids that I instruct in Boulder, CO, this shoe has good colors, fits snug and soft, and tightens to adjust for growing kids and beginning tots.

Pros

  • Fun
  • Comfortable
  • Adjustable

Cons

  • Soft
  • Non-agressive

The shoe will last for at most a year, and there was an original batch with weakly sewn heel size-adjustment straps that would pull off after a few months of climbing. I've seen toddlers and 10-year-olds in these shoes. They are not aggressive, and very comfortable.
