About 20 years ago I bought an MEI Trekker for a year-long trip across Europe. This was the only bag which I brought with me, and it was adequate to live out of no matter whether I was on a month-long journey across the Pyrenees Mountains or using the day pack for shorter excursions. It was the most comfortable pack I've experienced — to date.
I gave it away about a decade ago to a friend who was in serious need of a backpack, and have wished several times since then I still owned it. I may have to purchase another one... unfortunately they no longer make the Trekker in black.
I would highly recommend this pack to anyone!
