MPC is no longer in business.
Mountain Products Corporation (MPC) was created in 1964 by Richard McGowan around the Seattle, WA/Portland, OR area. MPC was moved to Wenatchee, WA in 1967 and was a pioneer in designing outdoor wear, tents, backpacks, and sleeping bags. Mr. McGowan sold the company in 1974 to Fuqua Industries and Sportscaster.
