MSR Pro Bivy
When you need weatherproof protection in rugged terrain, but don't have room to pitch a tent, consider the Pro Bivy. MSR designed the Pro Bivy for professional alpinists (surprise!) and anyone else who needs serious shelter on technical alpine routes, fast traverses, and fastpacking adventures.
The Pro Bivy weighs just 10 ounces and features weatherproof, breathable ripstop nylon fabric to help reduce condensation and an Xtreme Shield waterproof fabric on its floor that MSR claims will last up to three times longer than standard coatings. It's 88 inches long, packs down to 8x4 inches to fit in your pack, and is designed to be pitched quickly in small, tight spaces.
