These may not be your traditional hiking boots, but they'll certainly serve the purpose well! Whether it be hiking, camping, working, bugging out, or for whatever you might need a good, lightweight waterproof boot, this will foot the bill (no pun intended).
I found these to be extremely comfortable as soon as I first put them on (the company actually claims that they have "no break-in time", and they're correct). I've stood in the middle of a creek that was about 6" deep in these and my feet stayed completely dry.
These actually are made for emergency responders since they have a blood-borne pathogen-proof moisture-wicking liner, but I wear them for practically everything I do that doesn't require dress shoes. The side-zip feature means I can have them on or off in a few seconds.
A little pricey, but well made and worth the cost.
