TripTips Bucket Toilet Seat

Great solution for campers who prefer to stay off the beaten path.

Pros

  • Nice wide seat.
  • It's cushioned.

Cons

  • None.

If you mainly camp in dispersed areas like me, then a portable toilet is a must. This seat fits on a 5 gallon bucket, mines from Harbor Freight and it snaps on perfect. There's a channel that runs around the bottom of seat that snaps snuggly down on the bucket so it's not going to slide around when you sit on it. The seat lid also snaps closed. The seat is 14 inches across and is cushioned. The cushion itself is 13 inches across. With the Harbor Freight bucket the seat is 15 1/2 inches up from the ground. For me and the type of camping I do the bucket toilet was the best option and there is a wide variety of waste bags to choose from.
