rated 3.0 of 5 stars

The Vision Bedding blankets are custom blankets for every occasion. I didn't think it would work well for our camping trip, but they are densely woven and keep heat in beautifully. They also hold up well to washing, and they fold well compared to other blankets of similar size.

Pros

  • Quality product
  • Very soft and warm

Cons

  • Can be a little pricey
  • Blankets tend to be of brighter hues but are not iridescent or bright enough to be used for bad condition signals

Vision Bedding blankets come in a lot of different styles with fabric options and sizes. I have tried out their standard photo blanket, though I originally intended it more of a decorative blanket to help keep the kids from missing their dad. However, the blankets turned out to be a great investment. They kept the kids warm, and they fit nicely in our sleeping bags.

Personally, I like blankets and items that are multifunctional. These blankets are great for memories and warmth. However, they are also good for signaling for help in bad weather. Despite this though, they do not have options for fluorescent or iridescent color patterns. This means that the blankets do not work well for signals in particularly dim weather.

Additionally, the blankets are dense and soft, but this means that they do not fold into the bags as well as lighter emergency blankets. The tradeoff, however, is that the blankets are so soft and warm that they make it easy to sleep even on hard, rocky ground.

The blankets can be rather expensive when compared to a blanket from Wal-Mart. But since you can customize the blanket to whatever you want and they are a high quality blanket, they are worth the investment. I loved seeing the kids' expressions when they saw our family pictures emblazoned on the blanket. It made us miss their dad all the more, but he was a good man, and it was like he was right there with us.

So far, the blankets have lasted for multiple trips and multiple washings without losing their warmth or quality.

Disgusting company! They took my money and never fulfilled my order. After several attempts to resolve this, I ended up having to go to my own bank to get my money. DO NOT TRUST!
