Outdoor Research Men's Incandescent Hoody

Nice, warm, light down parka. Fit/finish top notch.

This is a really nice, lightweight down jacket w/ ~ 7 oz of 800 down.  I find it very warm for the weight, my Large comes in at 17.1 oz. Compresses small and packs into its own stuff sack (utilizing one of the pockets).

It has a good DWR finish, will shed snow and light precip nicely. I like the longer cut vs other lightweight parkas that are waist length. Has a dual direction zipper and a nice drawstring bottom. It has a handy "Napoleon" upper pocket.

I'm a little disappointed with the hood. While it is cut nice, a jacket of this weight should have an adjustable hood, would take under an ounce to accomplish.

Don't let the retail price scare you off. These are often on sale at a deep discount.  It's a great down jacket for winter.

Simply wow! Bought this jacket last year just in time for a whole week at -42 degrees Celsius in Banff, AB. This thing kept me warm the whole time!

Great for rock and ice climbing because of it double zipper feature, which is awesome when belaying. It can also pack inside of its own pocket to about the size of a 2L Nalgene bottle and weighs virtually nothing at all.

Bottom line.. warmest, most packable and efficient down jacket out there!
