Patagonia Light and Variable Jacket

rated 4.5 of 5 stars
photo: Patagonia Light and Variable Jacket wind shirt

This jacket is perfect for those rainy summer days.

Pros

  • Lightweight
  • Comfortable material
  • Folds up into a pouch

Cons

  • Really just a spring, summer, early fall jacket
  • Not warm enough for snow

This jacket is perfect to take on camping trips. It folds up into its pocket and has a clip you can clip onto the back of your pack. It is also perfect for traveling on an airplane. Fits right into your carry-on in case it's a little chilly on the plane.

It's lightweight, which is perfect for those hot, rainy summer days. The material is very comfortable and doesn't stick to your skin. You can tighten the hood if the rain starts to get bad. The jacket is both snow and water resistant but you would need a jacket under it in the snow.
