Encapsulating warmth, anti-stink, relatively quick drying, wicking, optional thumb loops, fairly lightweight even with the double layer (super warm) hood, and price was right! Is that possible? One incredibly versatile top in cool to cold weather.
- All of the above
- Can't lose your hat and way warmer than a tuque anyways
- Venting is on point with the below sternum zip
- It's not a wind breaker
- Too warm for a summer sun hoody
Fit for me is spot on throughout. Deep chest zip is perfect, extra long arms, breathes and adjusts to temperature beautifully, layers well, more robust/abrasion resistant and better wicking/drying time because of the addition of Capilene.
60 degrees and below this is one impressive piece of apparel. It has the ability to be used at any layer of clothing usefully. I now own four and expect them to last more than ten years if I hand wash them and reasonably treat them with care during use.
