Patagonia Men's Stretch Ascent Jacket

A great jacket! The proprietary Patagonia 2.5 layer H2No is an amazing waterproof fabric that easily rivals Gore-tex Paclite. It is an amazingly breathable jacket, and helped by the pit-zips and venting pockets on the chest. I also love the inner mesh pocket which is great for keeping bottles close to our body and out of the cold during chilly summit attempts.

The reason I only gave this 4.5 stars is that the fit is a little funky. At 6'2", 170lbs, a medium jacket fits perfectly around the body with the appropriate layers underneath. But strangely the arms are really long and baggy. I would prefer and tighter arms and shoulder cut like those on Arc'teryx brand jackets, but honestly, I would not let this diminish the quality of what Patagonia has made.
