Summary

A great pair of pants for traveling and light adventures, but still nice enough to wear into the office on Monday morning. Super comfy, unexpectedly tough, and quite stylish.

Pros

  • Stylish
  • Ultra light-weight
  • Very comfortable
  • Packable
  • Wrinkle-free

Cons

  • No crotch gusset
  • Not as durable as other RR pants

The Adventure Khakis are the lightest pairs of pants I own. I have one in each color and I wear them several times a week. What I love about the Adventure Khaki is how lightweight and packable they are. You can crush em up, jam them in a bag, and pull them out hours/days later and they will be wrinkle free.

They are super light and therefore super comfortable which is a great combination when you are sitting in an office or doing light walking.

I honestly use these more often as a casual pant. They are fine to do outdoor activities in, but they lack the reinforcement at the knees and seat that other RailRiders pants have. They are still tough. The nylon is sturdy and everything is double stitched. They dry ridiculously fast and ventilate very well.

Overall, these are the cheapest pants RailRiders makes and are described as an "ideal pant for travel and light hiking" and they perform exactly as advertised if that is what you are looking for.

[Disclosure: I am a current RailRiders employee but a long time RailRiders wearer.]
