Red Ledge Storm Cagoule

rated 5.0 of 5 stars

The Storm Cagoule has been discontinued. If you're looking for something new, check out the best waterproof jackets for 2024.

Version reviewed: #2400

Long unisex polyurethan coated nylon water repellant and taped seams cagoule. I tested it with the assorted pant in mountain during a long shower: result very reliable, I stayed dry!

When the rain stoped, you can transform it into an anorak with four snap plastic buttons that you fold in the middle of the cloth. The new model has velcro closings from the big front zipped map pocket to the visored hood. Elastics drawcords at hood and underknees. Velcro cuff tabs, also behind the hood to adjust head that can be folded with another transversal velcro tab. Size is double L/XL, wide enough so the air is well ventilated if you don't tighten the drawcords even if the fabric is nylon.

In short I don't regret my buying at Campmor for $36.99. Available in Classic Blue or Emerald. It's better than a poncho. You have two rain jackets in one.
