True 10 degree bag, lightweight, packs small, and comfortable materials.
Pros
- Lightweight
- Compresses down small
- Warm and comfortable
- Great loft
- Silky soft
Cons
- Minor down leakage
I had the Halo 25 which was amazing, so I picked the 10 degree Halo at the REI used gear sale for $100. It packs about the size of a 6 pack of tall cans, and weighs under 3 lbs. It's rated 10+, but at 10 degrees, I felt no signs of the cold coming through all night and besides my face, was warm as could be. You ever slept in a ski mask? haha.
Remember to insulate underneath your bag as down compresses significantly under your body weight and you lose most of the insulative properties. Especially on an uninsulated air mattress.
