Robens Arch 2

Excellent. Genuinely can't fault it so far, and a superb buy given the offers and reductions available.
Pros
- Fairly light
- Roomy
- Well built
- Good weather protection (so far)
- Some clever design touches
- Superb value
Cons
- Could be lighter
- Stuff sack is a fraction small
I recently purchased this tent to replace my faithful, but now worn out Mountain Hardwear PCT1 (see my old review on this site).
I wanted a bit more room, a porch area, and rapid pitching, so decided to go for a 2-man tunnel design. Robens got the nod due to good reviews and a crazy price (£99! — the newer model is £250 and identical save for the colour. I make that a bargain).
I've used it 4 times so far on motorcycle trips and literally can't find fault. It's nearly twice the weight of the PCT1 but it would be....it's nearly twice the size, and on a bike it's still small and light enough to pack with ease.
If you favour a tunnel over a geodesic design (ie you're not going mountaineering or need something winter windstorm proof) then you'll find weather protection more than adequate. It's truly rain proof and vents pretty well.
Space is great for 1 person with kit, and the porch size is well considered for using a Trangia and keeping fairly comfy.
Really pleased with it. I think if I'd spent £200 plus on it I'd be happy. Given you can, like me, grab one for less than half that, I'd say buy with confidence.
