Scarpa Vapor V

rated 4 of 5 stars
photo: Scarpa Vapor V climbing shoe

Versatile all-around precise shoe.

Pros

  • Edging power
  • Comfort

Cons

  • Not as smeary
  • Not my favorite steep shoe

I have had the new 2015 lime green model since April 2015. These are really good shoes for doing a lot types of climbing, but not the best except for small edges. I think I'd like them more with a stickier sole and a bit more camber.

Great mileage shoe, perfect for a beginner looking for some performance.
