This bag packs down very small. About the size of a cantaloupe. But 50 degrees would be a stretch.

This is a nylon shell with a thin wool liner. I don't think I would take it below 65 degrees. Even with a micro fleece liner that is supposed to give 10 extra degrees I completely froze in this bag in the mid 40s.

I am thinking of using this with one or two micro fleece liners and one silk liner to see if it will stay warm in the 40s. For a summer bag I think its quite nice. The vented foot box is a great touch. 4 stars because I would like an accurate temp rating. I dare someone to use just this bag and long underwear in the low 50s. Brrrr!
