Sole footbed

Pros

  • moldable
  • cushion
  • pretty
  • sizing correct
  • feel good

Cons

  • heavy

Needed to take up room in my Oboz boots, found these in my box of extra insoles. They are a size 12, are within 1-2 mm of the original Oboz insoles in length.

IMHO they are more comfortable than the original footbeds and they do take up more room so now my heels do not slip. Win/win. Archmold and Sole are the moldable insoles I like. Sole has the better website. They come in three different thicknesses with different cushioning. No idea if one company is better than the other.

Background

I own more insoles than most people. For a long time I thought they were the answer to poor fitting boots. Sometimes they are. Have them mostly in hiking boots and ski boots. Supposedly you should change your insoles periodically. I usually wear out the shoe before that happens.
