Suncloud Loveseat sunglasses
Bought these just after I'd lost the Whips in May. They were an impulse buy when the others got damaged before a trip.
Pros
- Nice neutral gray greens lens
- Polarized
- TR90 frames are tough
- Basic WayFarer style
Cons
- don't wrap around
Got these in a bind when I had my Whip sunglasses destroyed. They are great for travel. I put them in my wifes SUV and they are much like my old Wayfarer or Vuarnet frames , not wrap style. The lens color is actually pretty nice and I plan on these being my beach or fishing glasses as well as driving. I'm very glad I skipped on the mirror lens even though Sunclouds mirror isn't as reflective as some others. Was happy to find these in basic black frames. I'm now using 3 pairs of Suncloud sunglasses and a pair of vintage 30ish year old B&L RayBan aviators with G15 glass that I will review in the future. These Sunclouds are much like the G15 lens in color. Both are 15% VLT.
Now my PSA: You might notice I have a lot of sunglasses. If researched one of the highest occurrences of cataracts is with fisherman on the Chesapeake Bay. I grew up in NC not far from there and cheap sunglasses in the 60s and 70s likely contributed to my having both lens replaced about 30 yrs ago. Do yourself a favor and discard cheap gas station or drugstore sunglasses and get some decent ones.

Background
I used to live on a beach and surfed so I've had so many sunglasses its hard to remember them all.
