Comfortable from the first try!

I put Superfeet into them and they're in contention to be bad weather hiking boots too.

Good performance on rock. Stiff shank but not too stiff upper. At the very least give them a try. They fit my wide but bony with a narrow heel feet like a dream.

MSRP is $250 and I would pay that too.

My go-to heavy-duty backpacking/light mountaineering boot. Great ankle support and nice tread.
Supremely comfortable right out of the box, and surprisingly lightweight.

Downsides? Not a good trail boot as it doesn't have too much rocker, and the colour is a little unfortunate. Neither enough to lower the rating however.

Materials: leather with Gore-tex
