Two-person polyester sleeping bag liner

Pros

  • Lightweight @ 11.5 oz
  • Soft polyester
  • Pillow pocket
  • Zipper on one side
  • Great width for 2
  • Stuffs small

Cons

  • Topsheet is too short
  • Pillow pocket stitching can pull
  • Zipper on one side

We hate lying directly on our pad and our Enlightenment Equipment Accomplice will tear if we look at it wrong, so having a liner is a must.

This is a two-person liner, so with it comes with the usual caveats with usage, be sure you enjoy each other's company.

The liner is a great size at approximately 74" and 56" wide. All measurements are approximate, but we both fit in with a little to spare.

The pillow pocket at the top is great for keeping pillows in place. I like to use a Klymit inflatable pillow and my clothes bag to stuff in here and make a decent sized pillow that doesn't wander around the tent. I've also stuffed my head in the pocket for a little warmth and sun blockage when I forgot my beanie one trip

However, the pillow pocket goes down too far and the top sheet doesn't go high enough. The top sheet goes up 59". I really dislike that the sheet doesn't hit my neck. And for someone taller, it will of course be worse. The top sheet needs to be 6" taller for this to be a really great liner.

Approx 59" top sheet is too short.
The zipper on one side does make entry and exit easier. It's about 58" long, so it mostly unzips the entire bag. We rarely open it fully, so if they wanted to save some weight,  this could be shorter. It's a small zipper, so not too heavy. And I don't think it has ever snagged, so it's definitely less irritating than our Tiger Wall fly zip.

The whole bag stuffs into an 8"x5" bag and weighs 11.5 oz with .3 oz being the bag. It also comes with a carabiner that I immediately took off.

This will be the bag's second season. We've used this bag in Yosemite, Bears Ears, Olympic Ntl Park, Tetons, Sawtooths, and the Uintahs for probably 30 nights and it has no issues aside from a small snag on the side of the pillow pocket that I caused when trying to pull my head out too quickly.

The bag does add a small amount of warmth,  maybe 5 degrees at most. And we have used it with just a throw blanket in 50 degree nights without issue.

Overall a good liner that needs a taller top sheet to be a great liner.
