This is a nice jacket. Well made and quite warm. Sheds water and rolls up small. Blocks wind well while breathing okay. Tightens at waist and has good pockets that double as vents. I have two issues, it keeps wrinkles, you look like raisin all day, and is pretty heavy. Almost a pound. For a wind shirt-wind breaker the Mt. Hardwear Tempest is much lighter and very warm for 11 oz.

Fabric: Nylon ripstop, DWR treated
Fill: poly 'wicking' lining.
Price Paid: $45

Got it at a half price end of season sale. It is awsome. While I can say, Never leave home w/out it. Seeing as I haven't had a chance to see how it stands up to rain. But overall it is the best jacket for what it is asked to do.

Did some GeoCaching this weekend. Used it as an outer layer, the core vents really to get the heat out in a hurry. Stayed out well past sundown and the jacket kept me nice and warm as an outer layer. Liked it so much went back and bought one for the Gfrnd.

I've seen online prices in the mid $50s. So you can't go wrong. It is a perfect fit for the winter weather here in Denver. One day it is in the 60's and the next it is in the 20's. This jacket is right at home. It does a fine job of keeping the wind out. While most people I see on the street in the parkas (mid 30 degrees), I am comfortable in this jacket. Treat yourself to a great product.
