The North Face Flyweight
I’ve used the Flyweight for a year now and find it very functional. It’s been with me hiking the Alps in Chamonix as well as touring cities in China. It is my carry-on on flights and yet packs down to fit in my rolling back on travel days. It holds a jacket, sweater, and water for a casual hike or a day of city touring. It is designed as a real backpack, not a sack with shoulder straps. The waist strap is a real help for the trip home when it is fully loaded and heavy with purchases.
