Therm-a-Rest Haven 20

rated 2.5 of 5 stars
photo: Therm-a-Rest Haven 20 3-season down sleeping bag

I ended up not using this bag, opting instead for a warm wool blanket when it snowed at 5000'.
The loops that held the straps ripped the first week, and the seam on the small pocket (think of a pocket on your flannel shirt) ripped even though I never used the pocket.

My Haven was good for 20°, which is fine as long as it doesn't get wet.

Pros

  • Fairly warm
  • Very light 1lb 6 oz

Cons

  • Hard to get into
  • Hard to avoid air seeping out (or in) from the back.

Drafts are expected.

Not easy to get in or out of. God forbid a wild-land fire if you're asleep.

I was in 15°-75° weather.
