The Tinkle Belle is a urinary device that allows women to pee on the go. In just a few moves, you can set yourself up to pee standing up with a product like this one.
- There’s a learning curve
- Less competitive in price and design than other products
Have you ever been stuck in a dirty restroom, and you didn’t want to squat near the toilet to tinkle? Do you ever wish that you could pee in the backcountry as easily as men? There’s nothing worse than having to slip your harness off to pee. But you don’t have to anymore.
The Tinkle Belle is a urinary device that is designed to allow women to pee while standing up. So, it doesn’t take very much effort to use this product while wearing a harness, or while using a public restroom somewhere. Just slip it out of its included antibacterial pouch to begin a life of freedom!
The Tinkle Belle can be purchased with a storage case, on its own, or even as a glow in the dark device. Prices for these items range from $21 to $29.50, depending on your selection. To me, $30 seems like a small price to pay for the convenience of a urinary device like this one. But it is possible to find competitive urinary devices for less money.
Using the Tinkle Belle
Manufacturers suggest practicing with the Tinkle Belle while you’re in the shower, and for good reason. If the placement is wrong, it isn’t difficult to end up with urine in the wrong places. It took me more than a handful of times to become consistent and efficient with my placement. But it was worth the struggle. Now, I pack a urinary device with me on my travels, while in the woods, and especially while rock climbing.
With a flexible tip, the Tinkle Belle can easily bend or be tucked away into small compartments without showing any wear. After a year of use, this product is still like new.
Testing the Tinkle Belle
I’ve had the Tinkle Belle for about a year now. I had the chance to test it out in a wide range of different environments. I took it to Alaska, California, North Carolina, and South Carolina while on climbing, hiking, and casual trips. I love how compact it is. And having the carrying case is the way to go, because it allows you to stay discreet even while you’re in the public. Once I got the hang of the device, I found myself using it basically everywhere except for at home.
I've tested a handful of different urinary devices. The Tinkle Belle was an effective tool, but I ultimately found that there were competitive devices that were easier to use and cost less.
