Tubbs Flex RDG Rigid

rated 5 of 5 stars
photo: Tubbs Flex RDG Rigid hiking snowshoe

Pricey, but technically great if on sale!

Pros

  • Design hinders snow from flipping up at back
  • Bindings are excellent re setting before and easily tightening when putting on outside
  • Flip-up bar for climbing steep hills is excellent

Cons

  • Ugly plain black colour with no other colour flourishes
  • Only 1 colour selection

Looked up loads of types before deciding on this brand and model.

For the price, excellent value for such proficient bindings. On sale, costs less than $200 at MEC.

Plain black is so disappointing. Why not some red or orange thrown in to the design???

A friend with a top MSR pair tried these and loved the bindings!

I mainly chose this type and brand because of arthritic hands = far easier to quickly put on than any other type of binding.
