photo: Vapur Eclipse water bottle

Attractive, lightweight, foldable water bottle is great for camping or traveling.

Pros

  • Lightweight
  • Foldable

Cons

  • Coating seems to wear off quickly (aesthetic only)
  • May not fit in all backpack water bottle holders

This 34 oz (1 L) bottle is durable and can be used with boiling water, frozen, and is even safe to put in the dishwasher. It is foldable down into a very small size and weighs practically nothing. It has a very secure top/lid that even has a carabiner for carrying, although this feels awkward to use when it is full. The material also does not change the taste of the water, unlike some other water bottles.

This type of bottle is especially great for air travel since it can be filled after going through security.

The one I purchased was customized with the Florida National Scenic Trail logo. I have been using it for 5 months now and the only wear on the bottle is on the coating which makes some areas look shiny vs. opaque. This only affects the aesthetics of the bottle though. I would recommend this bottle.
