Excellent light-weight and warm, a true "3 season bag" that was warm enough for Mr. Lemon, AZ in February (lows in the 25-30F range). The Bear Creek is loaded with tons of little luxuries like a mesh pocket near the head to store stuff, draft tubes all over the place, foot zipper in case you get too hot, and a super silky soft lining that warms up quickly. Bags stuff down small, but fluff up again right away and the long size is really long (my boyfriend is 6'5" and he fits in his with a bit of room to spare).
Vaude is a German company with a factory in the US. Their stuff might be hard to find but I'm really impressed by their gear. It may not be flashy or come in lots of cool colors but it's very reasonably priced (I did an exhaustive comparison of bags and Vaude certainly offered the most features for the money) well-made stuff.
