VauDe Yosymmetric 40

rated 5.0 of 5 stars

The Yosymmetric 40 has been discontinued. If you're looking for something new, check out the best overnight packs for 2024.

I got this VauDe two years ago to replace my 10 y/o Jansport Tahoma for skiing and daytrips. The VauDe is extremely comfortable with easily adjustable and well padded hip and shoulder belts. The pack easily carries a shovel, probe, water (in a built-in hydration bladder), food, first aid gear and spare clothing. It rides close w/o swaying. The hidden pocket inside the top pocket is great for your keys and wallet. Really nice pack that seems tough enough to last for a long time. Oh yeah, the built-in rain fly is a nice touch. I may try it for ultralight overnights.

I have been rocking this back for five years as a college book hauler and a day pack. Nothing but praises except it is hard to find a dealer of this sweet product.
