This is a good quilt to take camping or to use at a football game. I used it beneath my sleeping bag to add some padding and warmth from the ground. I have also put it on the bleachers at a football game.

Pros

  • Good size
  • Warmth
  • Easily packs into stuff sack

There are many uses for this quilt and I really enjoyed mine while camping. The cool nights allowed me to use this underneath my sleeping bag to keep me warm from the ground. I also used it while sitting around the fire and had it over my legs to keep the heat in when it was in the 30s.

It is built well and should last for many years. The price is good too!

Experience

I have used it about 4 or 5 times now over the course of a few months. The quilt still looks new.

A good value camp/car quilt that is really warm.

Pros

  • Really warm
  • Packs fairly small
  • Affordable

I really like this quilt. It is really warm, is big enough to cover both myself and my wife, and stuffs down (in a provided stuff-sack) enough that we just keep it under the seat in the car.

It's perfect for popping out to watch a sunset, adding to the sleeping bag on a really cold night, or even on the couch. If you have a bigger sleeping bag it can be a nice addition as a liner if it gets really cold. We were out in the desert (Joshua Tree), and temps got down around freezing. I used this camp quilt to line my sleeping bag, and woke up too warm!

I have one from another major camping brand that is very similar but about half the size, and this is very comparable at a better price point. The price point made it easier to buy a second one to use on the ground for picnics or just to lay out on a nice day, while keeping the other clean for in the sleeping bag or inside.

Experience

I have multiple versions of this camp quilt, and also own several from other brands. This one lives in our car now.
