Nearly 80 years young and refusing to slow down!

I have been in the outdoors all my life and lived and worked in both hemispheres. I have been a professional guide in mountain activities, certificated in outdoor education in Britain. I used to do winter and summer climbing but since having had foot operations from frostbite only walk.

I currently live in the South Island of New Zealand in easy reach of many areas of interest. On my doorstep are the Port Hills and Banks Peninsula with many paths and trails. Further afield, an hours drive are the New Zealand Alps with a plethora of opportunities for adventure. I am currently doing sections of the Te Araroa Trail a 3000 km trail the length of NZ
