My name is Irene and I am a band director. I am backpacking obsessed and try to go whenever I can. I am in the process of section hiking the Long Path, and hoping to thru hike the Long Trail next year. I have only been backpacking for 2 years, but I have hiked and camped my whole life - Nothing makes me happier than being outside, and an ice cold beer after a hard hike is a cherry on top. When I'm not teaching or backpacking, I snowboard in the winter, and scuba dive and wakeboard when I can.
