I live in Alaska and snowbird a couple months each year in Apache Junction, AZ. I do almost all of my trips solo as my wife now has two titanium hips and it's difficult to find partners who can go when I want to go, especially at short notice.
I've spent the last few years exploring the Southwest in my Sportsmobile 4WD and doing long hikes and backpacking trips based from it.
