Big Agnes Flying Diamond 6

rated 4.5 of 5 stars
photo: Big Agnes Flying Diamond 6 four-season tent

I've only set up the tent in the backyard, but so far so good. Very simple design, no brainer instructions (upon a second reading). Coloured poles are a smart feature, one change I'd make is to colour the front poles orange, to match the orange grommet straps on the front of the tent...all other straps are black. Instead you have to re-read the instructions again to clarify why you are NOT using orange poles in the front orange section. Minor point.

Tent is very spacious, nice tight fitting fly, I added a footprint and its a perfect fit (makes sense, and for $50 more, why not when your dropping $500). Lots of pockets, could use an overhead pocket. Nice carry bag, but I'll probably switch to a compression sack for easier packing.

Everything seems to be in good shape. Can't wait to use it this summer. Thanks Adventure Guide Inc. Waterloo, Canada.
