Manufacturer's website claims the bag is filled with…

Rating: rated 1 of 5 stars
Source: bought it new
Price Paid: $500

Summary

Manufacturer's website claims the bag is filled with superior 800 down. Material tag on bag shows it is filled with 600 down (see photos on Amazon.com review). They have not explained why that is. Bag was returned.

Pros

  • Biggest bag on the market

Cons

  • Uses 600 down, not 800 as claimed
  • Poor loft
  • Zipper snags

I stand corrected. One customer service employee said 800 is just a name. Strongly suggest they revise their website.

Hi Luc, Can you share some pictures of your bag and label in your review? It is odd that the brand says "We use 750 down and 800 Premium Goose down" on its website if that's not what they're putting inside. http://www.blackpinesports.com/the-backside-bside-800-super-down-40-sleeping-bag
