I needed socks for backpacking the Long Trail in Vermont where conditions are rugged and sometimes wet. These socks lived up to their name. They fit my foot like a glove (size 13 foot)XL sock size. They performed well in hot and humid conditions as well as cold and wet during my five week trip. My feet experienced no blisters or hot spots.
I like these socks so much, I am wearing them at home.
