Boreal Shirt

rated 5 of 5 stars This is the most awesome piece of winter clothing I have ever had! Made from 100% wool blankets, it is seriously warm...even when wet. The hood is intelligently designed, gives full coverage with or without a hat, holds in the heat, and doesn't obstruct vision. The Boreal Shirt is made by Empire Wool and Canvas. It is sold exclusively through Lester River Bushcraft.   Like all products from Empire Wool and Canvas, the Boreal Shirt is built like a truck. It has been, by far, the most successful… Full review

Arctic Anorak

rated 5 of 5 stars This anorak is made of 100% cotton lightweight canvas fabric, which is NOT meant to be waterproof but is windproof and breaths very well, much better than Gortex and even better than uncoated nylon. It is perfect for cold winter weather, especially in very windy conditions. I used this on a winter hot tent snowshoe camping trip, as well as several day trips skiing and snowshoeing in winter. It worked extremely well, very windproof, comfortable and breathable. I highly recommend getting the removable… Full review

True North Boots

rated 5 of 5 stars My True North boots are incredible! First they are super comfortable as I have difficult to fit feet. Second, they keep my feet warm, but not too hot. I live very remotely on a mountain about 3 hours NE of Spokane Washington. I have livestock and outdoor animals and spend hours outside every day doing chores. Our winters frequently have subzero temperatures,… Full review

Field Coat

rated 5 of 5 stars Last spring I ordered a very nice canvas Arctic Anorak from Kevin at ECW and was blown away by the quality and practical design not to mention its hard core winter good looks. In fact I was so happy with it I decided to gradually replace any outdoor gear I could with Kevin’s version of it using his high tech designs with traditional materials. My next purchase was one his wool camp coats which quickly became part of my every day layering system. As I find myself doing more and more 4 season hiking,… Full review
