Awesome tent!
Pros
- We have camped in our Space II tent for 36 years! 30-40 nights at least every year. With occasional seam sealant and waterproofing it is still in great shape!
Cons
- I did have to replace the door zippers after about 20 years. Not bad!
We camped with two kids and their friends (6 people total) and a dog and had plenty room! LOVE this tent. You take care of it and it has served us well.
Plenty of ventilation in the summer (Louisiana summers!) and below freezing some winters and rainstorms.
Background
A LOT of nights camping making memories with our kids and grandkids!!

I have family camped with a Space II tent for 19 seasons now. How's that for durability? After all this time the tent still looks new and because of its ample size, always inspires "tent envy" from new onlookers.
It's just plain comfortable...our family of four sleeps on cots with air mattresses on top and we have room for gear storage under the cots and aisles in between. The Space II makes several days in a tent easily enjoyable.
A gear loft would be a neat extra; does anyone have one?

I really have enjoyed the Space II. It does have a flaw in the rain fly--water leaks through window zippers. That problem was addressed in the Space III.
Eureka doesn't build near the quality tent today. If anyone knows where I can pick up a new or like-new Space III I'd sure like to purchase one

Lifetime warranty not worth the paper it was written on. Leaked from the start, never stopped. Now it is too old to get any parts or repairs. I gave up...
