Summary

Was amazing until it randomly died. 5 stars went down to 2.

Pros

  • Durable
  • Good brightness
  • Battery life
  • 3 brightness settings
  • Water resistant
  • Small

Cons

  • Can not attach to keychain due to power button location.
  • Can not stand on end due to power button.
  • After a year it has randomly stopped working (was never dropped or submerged). It's big brother is still going strong.

I got this light for a backup/quick access light on my backpack, and it works great. It runs on 1 AAA battery and has three brightness settlings.

The lowest setting is about as bright as a cheap AAA flashlight, and the brightest setting is adequate for almost any task in the dark, up to about 10-15 feet away, but I believe that it goes back to the medium setting after a bit, to avoid burning up the bulb.
