This product has me super stoked. Not only does it keep your hands from getting burned while cooking backpacking food, but it keeps the food warm until the very last bite! Self supported gussetted bottom allows you to get your food cooked while setting up the tent and then sit down to a warm meal at the end of a hard day's backpacking. Easy to use, clean and also good as a wind break while you boil the water.

(Please note this reviewer has a personal relationship with the owner but this item was purchased on and the review is as objective as possible after purchasing and testing this product.)

  • Super lightweight at 1.8 oz
  • Easy to use, clean and store
  • Doubles as a wind break for your stove
  • Keeps the food warm until you are ready to eat

  • Not available direct from manufacturer, but available from Amazon

I just bought a 25 foot roll of Reflectix (the material that bag is made of) at Lowes for $15. I bought a roll of reflectix foil tape for $3. I'm going to make bags and bowl coozies for myself and a few of my friends. This product is way overpriced. Easy instructions for this are all over Youtube. Just need scissors.
