The La Siesta Colibri Double Travel Hammock is lightweight and compact, so it's great for camping. I liked the fact this hammock comes with EVERYTHING you need in the travel bag.

Pros

  • Lightweight, compact, and easy to set up.
  • The tree-friendly straps and suspension system are included.

Cons

  • I had trouble fitting the straps and suspension system back into the hammock travel bag, but nailed it on the second try.

The La Siesta Colibri Double Travel Hammock is lightweight and compact, so it's great for camping. I liked the fact this hammock comes with EVERYTHING in the travel bag, including tree-friendly straps and an easy to adjust German-designed suspension system.

The weatherproof instructions and the travel bag are both sewn onto the side of the hammock so you don't have to worry about losing them, another plus when you're on the road.

I found the hammock very comfortable with enough fabric to stretch out lengthwise or sideways, depending on your choice.

I didn't have any trouble getting the hammock back into its travel bag, but I did struggle to get the straps wound tight enough to get them into a small sub-sack which is designed to fit on top of the hammock in the travel bag. I eventually succeeded, but it took me two tries.

I'd definitely recommend this hammock for anyone who wants some extra space for their sleeping bag while camping, or for two people who want to do some comfortable lounging.

Experience

This is the first time I've attempted hammock camping and I loved it. Nice alternative to my van or tent when the weather is mild. I will definitely take this hammock on my next camping trip, even if I don't sleep in it because it's a relaxing way to read or nap.
