Yet another great MEC product. But be warned...this jacket is warm. Any high output activities (cycling, cross-country skiing) are going to make you sweat, unless it is -40 C. Underarm zips help cool the jacket down, but for hard use I would recomend a 200 jacket. 300 is still great for siting around the fire or stove, and a certain amount of windproof makes it good on its own for milder days. The Cornice features two up-zip pockets, a side zipping chest pocket. It also gets an elastic drawstring hem and gusseted zelcro-close cuffs. Inner mesh mit pockets and reinforcments at the collar and elbows round out the deal. A steal at twice the price...MEC does it again.
