Mountain Equipment Co-op's best selling general purpose bag for schooling use, I believe. It consist of many pockets. Indeed, it's rightfully designed for the student in mind; with pencil holders, many zippers (YKK) and pockets. Although the bag is fairly large for its volume, I do not recommend it for carrying high capacities , if you plan to use it for city biking because it's somewhat stubby and fat, and you may find it unstable, though it has waist-straps. But, it's design for the biking in mind - 3M reflective material is standard on the front of the bag. The shoulder straps are rather extraordinary, because they are my favourite when I compared it with many brands of bag I've used - extremely durable and comfortable. The construction is made to last; indeed, this applies to all Mountain Equipment Co-op bags. Believe or not, if you still don't believe in MEC bags, visit this web page: www.halifax.cbc.ca/streetcents/school/backpacks.html

It proves that of all the bags TORTURED tested, Mountain Equipment Co-op bags came as the winner and the favourite in durable, reliability and comfort. MEC bags can be the best bags for the price!
