I bought this pack right before I hiked along a section of the AT. Through all the ups and downs the QAA adjusted the length between my shoulders and hips making the distribution of weight different which gave either my shoulders or hips a break. It has a "shock system" which works great.
Gel pads in the shoulders and a FAT comfortable hip pad. Also very weatherproof. Highly recommended. Call Happy Hiker, Gatlinburg TN at 1800 HIKER 01 for more info.
