Not a big fan. I purchased a medium size - I'm a 5'9" European climbers' build at around 75kg.

The jacket stopped "beading" in the wet just a couple months after wear, although the stitching and all still holds strong now 3 years after purchase.

I see it as a bit of a more wannabe piece mountain weather wear. Sure the wind ain't getting through, but it's useless and getting damp within when challenged by even a little wet snow or rain.

In short, may perform well for a year or so, but that's about it. Sadly, reapplying over the counter soft shell treatments did not help the cause.

This jacket which I purchased about three week ago, has been a reliable and life saving jacket. This jacket performs very well for skiing conditions and it drys very fast if it gets wet. The coolest feature is the pod pocket which all jackets should have. Even though the jacket is expensive, the windstopper fabric is worth the price tag. If you are looking for a windstopper jacket, look at Mountain Hardwear first.
