Mountain Soles has been providing high quality resoling and repair services on boots and other outdoor sports footwear since 1979. Mountain Soles founder Bill McKinney learned how to make and repair boots from boot maker John Newberry in Southeast Portland. Bill started Mountain Soles in a garage and within a few months moved into the back warehouse of the local outdoor store Oregon Mountain Community.
