This pack has always been quite comfortable and durable in some pretty nasty conditions. I really like the option of loading the pack (top or panel). It lets you organize or just stuff that thing full. I also like the top pocket/fanny pack, it's really just a lumbar pack. There are an abundance of straps which can be great for compressing your load or just getting in the way.
