MSR PocketRocket/Titan Kettle Kit

Reason for the 3.5 stars:
when you put the stove in the kettle it comes out of the plastic red container and into the kettle which it proceeds to scratch with every foot step.

Very, Very hot. If your cookwear is of the older kind it could melt or deform it.

Not the most stable stove in the world.

If you use a frying pan make sure it is small, this stove isn't meant to spread the flames and you will get hot spots in the cooking area.

I received the stove and the kettle as a gift to start collecting my backpacking gear list for future adventures. This system has allowed me to cook all kinds of stuff from foods that require a low simmer, to foods that need a rolling boil. The stove works great as a flame for foods like hot dogs, toast, small kabobs, and marshmallows over an open flame.

I highly recommend this set up. You get the maximum in light weight and great cooking performance.
