Omni-Wool Midweight Pant

rated 4 of 5 stars
photo: Omni-Wool Midweight Pant base layer bottom

These were comfortable. They wash well. The size was correct. I would recommend these for anyone that requires a stable undergarment.

Pros

  • Sized well
  • Keeps shape after multiple washings
  • Wicked away perspiration well
  • Nice fabric blend that felt warm but not hot

Cons

  • Would like a tall version

These were very comfortable. They did not hike up the leg or slide down from the waist. As a police officer out in the cold these kept me warm from the elements and with the dependability that they will stay in place.

They have washed well and kept their shape through multiple washings. They seem well made and durable.

I do not live in so cold a region to evaluate a temperature review but my experience was satisfying. The layer was warm without overheating me and they wicked any perspiration away well. The size was correct.

Background

This was my first experience with these and I used them this past winter. Will very likely get more. I usually try to buy base layers that can accommodate my large frame, but usually have a difficult time locating any that last any length of time. Holes seem to be the end result after getting on and adjusting for fit and length. I am not a very active outdoors person, but my occupation in law enforcement requires me to be ready for action and when that happens I know these will keep me warm.
