One Sport Spire

rated 3.0 of 5 stars

One Sport is no longer in business, and the Spire has been discontinued. If you're looking for something new, check out the best backpacking boots for 2024.

I have used my One Sport Spires exclusively for the past two years. My hiking is mainly off road, extremely rough and wet conditions. I must admit, I did not follow manufacturers instructions for weatherproofing, I used a jar of SnoSeal on them. My boots have never leaked, or been uncomfortable. The only maintenance I have done is to spray them off and let them dry after hiking. GREAT BOOTS!!

I have used these boots for two seasons while working on Vancouver Island as a park ranger. These are the worst boots I have ever owned. They have never been waterproof and have stretched too much. The rands began to come off in the first couple of months and the leather cracked and ripped.
